Residents at Bracebridge Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a fun-filled day out with a minibus trip to the bowling alley, followed by a delicious carvery lunch.
Knowing that bowling is one of the residents’ favourite activities, Elaine, Lifestyle Coordinator, wanted to organise a day out where everyone could enjoy something they love and spend quality time together.
The bowling session was filled with friendly competition and some impressive strikes. One of the highlights of the day came when Bracebridge Court resident Graham knocked down all the pins, with his face beaming with joy as he celebrated his strike.
For the Bracebridge Court residents, days out like this are an important part of supporting their wellbeing, giving them opportunities to enjoy activities they love, socialise with others and create happy memories together.
Resident of Bracebridge Court, Michael, said, “It was a brilliant day. There were lots of laughs and some strikes!”
Graham, also a resident at Bracebridge Court, thoroughly enjoyed the outing, saying, “I really enjoyed the bowling, and the delicious carvery lunch was the cherry on top!”
Lifestyle Coordinator Elaine said, “I loved the day. Seeing all the residents relaxed and happy was great.”
The team at Bracebridge Court were delighted to see how much everyone enjoyed the minibus outing and are looking forward to planning more days out and experiences that bring residents together and give them plenty to look forward to.
