Residents from Mulberry Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a wonderful day out to Bekonscot Model Village in Beaconsfield, exploring the miniature world and creating special memories together.
The visit was a lovely opportunity for Mulberry Court residents to get out into the community, discover new places and also revisit familiar ones. Minibus outings like the Model Village trip are so important as they help residents stay connected to the community and encourage social interaction.
For Mulberry Court resident Roger, the trip brought back some particularly special memories, as he remembered taking his own children to Bekonscot when they were little.
One of the highlights of the day was watching children from a local school enjoying the children’s train ride around the village.
