Residents at Jubilee Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a spooktacular Halloween party, with fancy dress, spooky decorations and live music from a much-loved local ukulele group.
The Halloween celebrations featured entertainment from the ukulele group, who have been visiting Jubilee Court for the past two years to perform for residents. The group played a selection of familiar songs, encouraging everyone to sing along and enjoy the music.
The home was transformed with Halloween-themed decorations, while Jubilee Court residents, staff and guests embraced the occasion by dressing up in a variety of spooky costumes.
At Jubilee Court, events like these play an important role in supporting residents’ wellbeing and music and shared celebrations can help encourage movement and bring back happy memories, while giving residents something enjoyable to share with those around them.
