Residents, families, staff and members of the local community at Caldwell Grange and The Lodge, part of the Runwood Homes group, came together to enjoy a vibrant Summer Fête.
The event transformed the home into a vibrant hub of activity, offering guests a fun-filled morning packed with entertainment, delicious treats and opportunities to socialise. A live performance from popular entertainer Sam, a regular favourite among residents, had everyone singing along and enjoying the lively atmosphere.
Visitors also enjoyed browsing a wide variety of stalls, including tombola’s, books, cakes, sweets, fudge and much more. The fête gave residents the chance to spend quality time with loved ones, meet members of the local community and enjoy a wonderful day.
Resident Ambassador Pearl shared her enjoyment of the event, saying:
“I had such a lovely morning seeing everybody and having a nosey around.”
One particularly touching moment came when resident Dorothy purchased a crystal bracelet from one of the stalls as a gift for a close friend, simply to show how much she cared for her.
The Summer Fête was a tremendous success, raising valuable funds while leaving everyone with smiles and excitement for the next community celebration.
