Karen Chaitoo

My name is Karen Chaitoo, and I have been working for Runwood Homes for 20 years. I started my journey as a carer and have worked hard to progress to acting Home Manager. I am proud to know that I am making a positive impact on residents lives every day and making an impact. I look forward to welcoming you to our home.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated wellbeing lead within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The wellbeing lead will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
