Residents, families, and staff at Elizabeth House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, were treated to a heartwarming day of Easter celebrations, filled with music, joy, and laughter.
The festivities began with a reflective church service, offering a peaceful start to the day. This was followed by an energetic performance from the talented singer Cheryl King, who had everyone tapping their feet and singing along. Residents were then treated to a delicious spread of food and drinks, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
In a delightful surprise, the Easter Bunny made a special visit, spreading cheer by delivering chocolate eggs to each resident, much to their delight. The excitement didn’t end there—an Easter raffle followed, with the Easter Chick herself hosting the event and handing out prizes to the lucky winners.
Elizabeth House believe that celebrating Easter helps to spark cherished memories and create new ones with family. The celebration brought together residents, staff and family members in a joyful gathering, bringing a positive, fun atmosphere that boosted everyone’s mood.
