Eastham Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, has brought festive joy to families in need this Christmas by donating 60 presents and sweet cones to the South Essex Family Centre, ensuring vulnerable children supported by social services will have gifts to open this holiday season.
Staff from Eastham Care Home visited the Family Centre on 10th December to hand-deliver the donations, made possible through the generosity of Eastham staff and the families of residents. Resident Harry also joined the visit, enjoying a warm cup of tea and a friendly chat with centre staff, a moment that added a heartfelt touch to the day.
The gifts will be distributed at the centre’s annual children’s Christmas party, supporting families most in need during this time of year.

A spokesperson from Eastham Care Home , said:
“It was incredibly rewarding to give back to our local community in this way.
