Residents at Heron Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, were delighted to welcome Home Admin Shannon’s baby.
The idea came about following the success of the baby’s first visit, when residents showed a real interest in spending time with the baby. Some residents even began looking forward to her next visit, with one particularly memorable occasion seeing a queue form outside the Home Manager’s office as residents waited to see the baby.
Residents, staff, and family members enjoyed the visits and noticed the positive effect they had on the home. It was lovely to see how naturally residents took to caring for the baby, showing affection and kindness.
These visits are a lovely addition to life at Heron Court, bringing residents and staff together and creating happy memories for everyone involved.
