Ivy Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, embraced the start of the Christmas season in true festive style on 1 December, as staff from every department dressed in Christmas pyjamas while decorating the home for the holidays.
Home Manager at Ivy Court, Stacey, praised the enthusiasm and team spirit shown by everyone who took part. A family member even joined in, adding to the fun and community feel of the day. Residents were delighted by the festive outfits, with many commenting that the staff “looked the part” as they decorated the home together.
The idea came from the Ivy Court team themselves, who wanted to kick off the festive season with laughter, colour, and a warm sense of celebration. The atmosphere was lively and joyful throughout the day, filled with smiles and shared moments.
The standout highlight was watching residents join in with the decorating, enjoying the cheerful environment created by the staff’s festive attire.
