Residents of Jubilee Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, celebrated the start of the festive season with a joyful Christmas meal at the local Nabb Inn on 3 December 2025. Organised by Lifestyle Coordinator, Deborah, the outing brought together 15 residents, family members, and team members for a heart-warming seasonal tradition.
The group travelled in three minibus runs to ensure everyone who wished to attend could be part of the special day. Residents were warmly welcomed by the staff at the Nabb Inn, who helped create a relaxed and cheerful environment perfect for festive dining.
Family members also joined in, adding to the sense of togetherness and community spirit. One resident captured the mood of the day perfectly, saying:
“Christmas is a time for good food with great people.”
The event is a cherished annual tradition at Jubilee Court, designed to strengthen social bonds, create lasting memories, and support residents’ wellbeing through shared experiences and connection with loved ones.
Deborah described the outing as uplifting and enjoyable, noting the warm atmosphere as families, friends, and residents chatted, laughed, and celebrated together.
The highlight of the day was the wonderful sense of togetherness, an experience that deepened relationships and left everyone feeling festive and appreciated.
