Residents at Jubilee Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed an afternoon filled with music, singing and dancing when a local ukulele band returned to entertain the home.
The band joined residents as part of Jubilee Court’s summer fair, bringing plenty of energy and familiar music for everyone to enjoy. The room was packed as residents sang along, tapped their feet, danced and applauded the performers.
The local ukulele group has been generously performing at Jubilee Court free of charge for around three years, building a wonderful relationship with residents and staff along the way.
One of the highlights of the latest performance came when the band introduced a new rendition of “Let’s Go Fly a Kite”, encouraging residents to get involved and sing along.
The team at Jubilee Court would like to thank the ukulele band for their continued friendship and for generously giving their time to bring music and happiness to residents.
