Residents from Liberty House care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a minibus outing to the lakeside.
Lifestyle Coordinators accompanied residents on a scenic trip to a nearby lake, where everyone enjoyed a relaxed day outdoors in the fresh air. The group made the most of the peaceful surroundings and brought porridge oats to feed the ducks and swans.
This was followed by a walk around the lake, where residents took in the beautiful views, including a central water fountain and a variety of wildlife along the way.
Resident Sylvia said, “I loved getting out for some fresh air and feeding the ducks and swans.” Carrie added, “The walk around the lake was beautiful. There was a big water fountain in the middle of the lake and plenty of ducks for us to watch.”
The outing provided an important opportunity for residents to stay active and benefit from Runwood Homes’ minibus service. It provided a meaningful experience that encouraged relaxation, friendly conversation, and time spent enjoying the outdoors.
