Lower Meadow Hosts Joyous Easter Egg Hunt for Bishopton Primary School

On the 22nd March 2024, Lower Meadow care home in Stratford-upon-Avon hosted a delightful Easter Egg Hunt for the children of Bishopton Primary School. With vibrant colours and laughter echoing through the neighbourhood, the event brought together the community in a celebration of joy.

The Easter Egg Hunt saw children from Bishopton Primary School searching the community for hidden treasures. Led by the Deputy Manager of Lower Meadow, Jasmine, and supported by Home Manager Rachel, the event was a resounding success. Alongside them, the beloved Easter Bunny, portrayed by caring carer Jack, added an extra sprinkle of magic to the festivities.

“We hid colourful eggs around the community for the children to find and return to Lower Meadow in exchange for a chocolate egg,” explains Jasmine, Deputy Manager of Lower Meadow. “The Easter Egg Hunt is something that we have implemented in our home on a yearly basis. This year was bigger than ever with all the children from Bishopton Primary encouraged to get involved. The children loved finding the colourful eggs and meeting the Easter Bunny. There were smiles and laughter all around. The residents also loved meeting the Easter Bunny and seeing the children visit the home really lifted their spirits.”

The event not only provided a fun-filled activity for the children before breaking up for Easter but also served as a heartwarming opportunity for intergenerational connection within the community. The residents of Lower Meadow cherished the sight of children joyously exploring their surroundings, bringing smiles to both young and old alike.

“We are delighted to see the positive impact events like the Easter Egg Hunt have on our community,” adds Rachel, Home Manager of Lower Meadow. “It not only fosters a sense of camaraderie but also brings immeasurable joy to our residents.
