Residents, families, staff and members of the local community came together at Westwood Care Home on Saturday 22 August for the home’s much-loved annual Summer Fayre.
Held in the home’s garden from 1pm to 4pm, the afternoon was filled with a fantastic community atmosphere, with a wonderful turnout of people joining together to support the home.
The Summer Fayre is an important annual tradition at Westwood, helping to raise money for the residents’ social fund. Funds raised contribute towards activities, outings and experiences that help residents continue to enjoy life to the full.
Natasha and Chloe, Lifestyle Co-Ordinators at Westwood Care Home, said: “The atmosphere was amazing as always, and it was lovely to see such a great turnout. The whole afternoon was a highlight, with everyone coming together for such a good cause.”
Residents and family members also shared how much they enjoyed the afternoon and praised the event for supporting such a worthwhile cause.
The successful fayre was another wonderful opportunity to bring residents, loved ones, colleagues and the wider community together at Westwood Care Home.
