The People’s Gallery once again welcomed visitors as Runwood Homes and Sanders Senior Living proudly hosted the third annual ‘No Art Without Heart’ Art Exhibition. The much-loved event showcased an extraordinary collection of artwork created by residents from more than 30 Runwood Homes care homes.
The exhibition was organised by Kieun, Associate Director of Wellbeing and Dementia Services, and Sarah Sanders, Business Development Director, who were both in attendance to celebrate the creativity and achievements of residents from across the group.
Among the standout contributions was an innovative piece from The Mill House, where residents regularly participate in art-based relaxation sessions. Using recycled denim, residents transformed everyday materials into a range of artwork.
The exhibition also celebrated the creativity of participants in the Runwood Homes 2026 Poetry Competition. Among the featured works was At My Age, the winning poem created collaboratively by the staff and residents of Brewster House.
Greenbanks resident Ernest and his wife created and painted a dollhouse inspired by the home and life they have built together over 62 years of marriage. The carefully chosen paint colours reflected their family home.
The third annual ‘No Art Without Heart’ Art Exhibition once again highlighted the remarkable creativity across Runwood Homes and Sanders Senior Living communities. The exhibition celebrated individuality, while offering residents the opportunity to share their talents with families, friends and the wider community.
