Westwood care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, recently marked a significant milestone with a heart-warming celebration of Minnie’s 108th birthday. The special event took place on 11th July 2024 in our Day Centre, where friends and family gathered to honour Minnie’s incredible achievement.
The Day Centre was transformed into a festive space with vibrant banners and decorations, setting the stage for a delightful afternoon tea. The event was a feast for the senses, with delicious cakes lovingly prepared by our talented kitchen staff. Residents enjoyed a lively atmosphere filled with music, singing, and dancing. Minnie, surrounded by her cherished friends from Westwood, savoured a glass of wine as a special treat to celebrate her remarkable day.
The gathering brought together residents, their families, and dedicated staff, creating a joyful and inclusive atmosphere. Celebrating Minnie’s 108th birthday was not just about marking a milestone but also about cherishing the community spirit and shared memories that make Westwood Care Home a special place.
