Residents at Westwood Care Home celebrated National Fajita Day with a tasty homemade fajita-making session in the home’s day centre.
Staff and residents came together to prepare and enjoy the fajitas, giving everyone the chance to try new flavours while enjoying a fun and sociable activity.
Natasha and Chloe from Westwood’s Lifestyle Team said: “Our lovely residents enjoy trying new flavours and foods. The atmosphere was wonderful, as always, and everyone enjoyed getting involved.”
Resident Jan summed up the spirit of the day perfectly, saying: “I will try anything once!”
The activity was a lovely opportunity for residents to try something new and enjoy time together.
