Westwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, proudly welcomed residents, staff, families, and members of the community on 30 November 2025 for its annual Christmas Fayre , a festive celebration dedicated to togetherness and raising funds for residents.
Natasha & Chloe, Lifestyle Coordinators at Westwood, shared their delight following the event. They noted that community members especially appreciated the beautiful handmade baby clothes knitted by two of Westwood’s talented residents, Dot and Joan, describing the gesture as “lovely” and deeply touching.
Hosted in the Westwood Day Centre, the fayre brought everyone together to enjoy seasonal stalls, activities, and opportunities to support the home’s fundraising efforts. The handcrafted baby clothes drew particular admiration, showcasing the creativity, skill, and generosity of Westwood residents.
“All our residents, staff, families, and the wider community were involved,” said Natasha and Chloe. “Events like this are so important for bringing everyone together and helping us raise valuable funds for our amazing residents.”
The atmosphere throughout the day was described as “so lovely,” with warm interactions, festive spirit, and a strong sense of unity. According to the Lifestyle Coordinators, “the whole day was lovely,” making the Christmas Fayre yet another cherished highlight in Westwood’s annual calendar.
