Westwood care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, hosted a spooktacular Halloween celebration on the evening of 29th October 2024. The home was transformed into a Halloween wonderland, filled with spooky decorations, laughter, and joy as staff, residents, and family members came together to celebrate the spooky season in style.
The event kicked off with Westwood care home being decked out in creepy cobwebs, pumpkins, and eerie lights, setting the perfect atmosphere for a fun-filled evening. Everyone got into the Halloween spirit by dressing up in their best costumes, with some truly creative outfits that added to the festive cheer. The highlight of the night was the DJ, who played a variety of music, keeping everyone on their feet. Residents, staff, and visitors danced and sang along, creating an energetic and joyous atmosphere.
Delicious refreshments were served throughout the evening, including hotdogs, burgers, and cakes, ensuring everyone was well-fed and ready for the fun. A raffle added to the excitement, with everyone hoping to win one of the many prizes, including the coveted ‘Best Dressed’ prize, which went to one lucky participant.
