On Friday 20th June, Bramwell Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, marked the conclusion of their Care Home Open Week with a spectacular Vintage Car Show, hosted in partnership with the Mansfield Capri Club. The event brought together residents, families, staff, and local community members for a memorable day filled with nostalgia, joy, and admiration for classic automobiles.
The idea for the Vintage Car Show originated during a residents’ meeting, where several expressed a heartfelt wish to see real vintage cars. Responding to this, Bramwell invited the Capri Club Mansfield to showcase their beautifully maintained collection of Capri cars, bringing a cherished dream to life for many residents.
Residents and staff gathered in the car park, enjoying the warm weather as they admired the impressive lineup of vintage vehicles. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and smiles as many residents posed for photos alongside the cars, reliving fond memories connected to vintage vehicles. The presence of the Capri Club Mansfield also drew positive community feedback.
