Westwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, held its much-loved Annual Summer Fayre which brought the whole community together.
The event was held in the beautiful garden grounds of Westwood, featuring a variety of stalls, delicious refreshments, and a bustling café area filled with homemade cakes and treats. The atmosphere was vibrant and joyful throughout the day, with music, and community spirit filling the air.
The home had an incredible turnout and overwhelming generosity of attendees, which helped raise £900 for the Residents’ Fund. This fund supports activities, outings, and extras that help residents live life to the fullest.
“Everyone who came to our Summer Fayre said how brilliant it was,” said Natasha, Lifestyle Coordinator at Westwood. “It means so much to see people come together and support what we do for our residents.”
“It was amazing to see everyone come together as a community,” added Chloe. “Days like this show the true spirit of Westwood.”
Events like the Summer Fayre are a long-standing tradition at Westwood Care Home, playing a vital role in connecting residents with the community while raising essential funds.
