Family, friends, and staff at Redbond Lodge Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, came together on Friday 12 December to celebrate an extraordinary milestone as resident George marked his 102nd birthday, surrounded by love, joy, and heartfelt well-wishes.
Commenting on the occasion, Karen, Lifestyle Team at Redbond Lodge, shared her pride in being part of such a meaningful celebration, recognising George’s remarkable life and legacy.
George enjoyed a truly special day, surrounded by family members, friends, and many well-wishers who came together to honour him. The atmosphere throughout the celebration was filled with love and laughter, creating memories that will be cherished by all who attended.
Reflecting on his day, George said:
