Westwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, residents and staff were delighted to accept a festive invitation from the local B&Q team to attend their Christmas meal on 9 December 2025. The special outing highlighted the strong and ongoing community connection between Westwood and B&Q, following a similar successful visit last year.
Residents and staff were warmly welcomed by B&Q employees and treated to a lovely Christmas dinner, followed by a fun game of bingo. The activities brought everyone together in true festive spirit, with plenty of laughter, smiles, and shared enjoyment throughout the day.
Being invited to B&Q’s Christmas meal was such a wonderful experience for residents and staff. The festive atmosphere, the bingo, and the warm welcome made the day truly special. Maintaining strong links with our local community is incredibly important to Westwood.
The event was enjoyed by all involved, with residents especially appreciating the opportunity to socialise and celebrate Christmas alongside members of the wider community.
