Residents at Mulberry Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, recently enjoyed a joyful and creative Art Day on 30 January 2026, welcoming family members and members of the local community to take part in a shared 3D card-making activity.
The event was organised by the wellbeing team and encouraged participants to use a range of craft materials to cut, layer, and decorate their own cards. The activity promoted creativity, teamwork, and interaction, with staff on hand to offer support and ensure everyone was able to participate and enjoy the experience.
Residents shared positive feedback following the event. Mary, one of the residents, said:
“It was lovely and so much fun. I enjoyed it.”
The atmosphere during the Art Day was described as enthusiastic and joyful, with plenty of conversation, laughter, and shared creativity. Events like this play an important role in supporting emotional wellbeing, encouraging inclusion, and strengthening relationships between residents and their families.
