Residents at Highview Lodge Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, were delighted to receive some very special visitors, as Bluey and Bingo, two adorable baby bunnies, hopped in to say hello.
Bluey and Bingo are a new addition to the neighbouring day centre and, as they live just next door to Highview Lodge, they will now be visiting residents regularly. Their first visit brought smiles, gentle cuddles and heartwarming moments for everyone involved.
Residents and staff gathered together to meet the baby bunnies, enjoying the opportunity to stroke and interact with them in a calm and comforting setting. Animal interaction is known to promote relaxation, spark conversation, and enhance emotional wellbeing, all of which were evident throughout the visit.
Highview Lodge remains committed to providing meaningful activities that support residents’ happiness and overall wellbeing, and the regular visits from Bluey and Bingo are set to become a much-loved highlight within the home.
