Residents at Redbond Lodge Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed a heartwarming visit from a very special four-legged friend on 11 February 2026, as Bella the dog returned to the home for a memorable afternoon of companionship and smiles.
The visit was arranged when former Activity Co-ordinator Corinne, who previously worked at Redbond Lodge, kindly offered to bring in her beloved dog Bella to meet residents once again. During her time at the home, Corinne regularly brought Bella along and witnessed first-hand the incredible bond formed between residents and her gentle companion.
The atmosphere during the visit was described as deeply emotional and uplifting. Residents gathered to stroke Bella, talk to her and share stories of pets they had loved throughout their lives. The joy on their faces was clear to see, with many expressing affection and delight at having Bella back among them.
A particularly touching highlight of the afternoon was the love that shone in residents’ eyes as they spoke to Bella.
