Westwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, recently brought residents, staff, and families together for a lively American-themed food evening, celebrating great food, and shared experiences amongst the community.
Held on Tuesday 24 March from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Day Centre, the event transformed the space with red, white, and blue decorations, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. Staff and residents embraced the theme by dressing in matching colours, adding to the sense of occasion and fun.
A highlight of the evening was the delicious homemade American cuisine, expertly prepared by Chef Glenn. The menu proved a great success, with residents sharing positive feedback about both the quality of the food and the overall experience.
The event was attended by staff, residents, and family members, all of whom came together to socialise, enjoy the meal, and strengthen connections within the Westwood community. The atmosphere throughout the evening was filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful interaction, making it a memorable occasion for everyone involved.
