Residents at Westwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed a joyful Easter celebration on Thursday, 2nd April, in the Day Centre. The event featured an Easter-themed party, live entertainment from singer Alan, a delicious buffet, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny.
Natasha and Chloe, Westwood Care Homes Lifestyle Coordinators, commented that the residents particularly enjoyed the Easter Bunny’s visit, which included giving everyone a small treat.
The Day Centre was decorated in bright Easter colours, and both staff and residents dressed festively for the occasion. Singer Alan entertained attendees with classics from the 60s and 70s, while everyone enjoyed a variety of buffet dishes and desserts.
Staff and residents participated in the celebration, creating a lively and cheerful atmosphere. One of the standout moments occurred when Enid, one of the residents, stood up and expressed her gratitude, saying it had been a wonderful party.
