Residents, staff, and family members at Bennett Lodge Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, came together for a fun celebration as one resident’s 90th birthday wish was brought to life with a special animal-themed day and a mini petting zoo inside the home.
The unique celebration took place in the Bennett Lodge lounges, where residents were given the opportunity to meet and interact with a variety of animals, including a snake, a millipede, and a rabbit. The experience was arranged as a birthday treat after the resident shared his wish to have animals visit the home for his special day.
