Residents, staff, and family members at Westwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, came together on 23rd April 2026 for a wonderful St George’s Day Party, creating an afternoon filled with music, laughter, and community.
The celebration took place in the Day Centre, where the room was beautifully decorated in honour of the occasion. Staff and residents embraced the theme by dressing in red and white, adding to the festive atmosphere and helping everyone feel part of the special day.
A highlight of the event was a live performance from singer Keeley, who entertained everyone with a selection of much-loved songs that had residents singing along and dancing throughout the afternoon. Guests also enjoyed a delicious homemade buffet prepared especially for the celebration.
Celebrating special occasions like St George’s Day is an important part of life at Westwood Care Home helping to bring residents, staff, and families together, and strengthening the sense of community within the home.
