Residents and staff at Frank Foster House care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, came together for their annual Pride celebration, enjoying a vibrant day filled with music, refreshments, and a shared commitment to inclusion and equality.
The event created a joyful party atmosphere, with residents taking part in a lively sing-along while enjoying light refreshments and snacks. The celebration brought everyone together, encouraging social interaction and creating a warm, welcoming environment throughout the home.
The occasion held special meaning for many who attended. One resident shared that their granddaughter is part of the LGBTQ+ community, making the celebration particularly personal. Several members of staff also identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, helping to foster openness, acceptance, and respect during the event.
The annual Pride celebration highlighted Frank Foster House’s commitment to promoting dignity, equality, and inclusion for everyone. It also provided residents with an opportunity to celebrate diversity, connect with one another, and enjoy a positive shared experience.
Nicolas said: “Celebrating Pride is important because it brings people together and promotes inclusion.”
