Residents, families, friends and the team at Elizabeth House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a fantastic Summer Fete on 27 June 2026, filled with music, laughter and memorable moments.
Organised by Lifestyle Coordinators Jess and Tracy, the annual event brought everyone together for a fun-filled day of entertainment and activities. Singer Paul had residents dancing and singing along with his lively performances, creating a wonderful atmosphere of joy and celebration.
Guests enjoyed a variety of activities including a tombola, face painting, glitter tattoos, a BBQ, lucky dip and tarot readings. The day was made even more special thanks to the amazing volunteers who helped make the event a success.
Receptionist Danielle highlighted the importance of events like this in bringing the Elizabeth House community together and supporting residents’ wellbeing through social connection and shared experiences.
Resident Janet’s daughter shared: “What a wonderful day, seeing mum enjoy the music and join in with the entertainment was so lovely to see.”
