Residents, families, friends and staff at Brewster House care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of music and dancing during a lively Country & Western-themed Summer Party.
The event was inspired by resident David, who suggested the Country & Western themed event.
Guests were treated to a performance by the talented WendySings4U, whose glamorous stage presence and fantastic selection of country favourites had everyone singing along and dancing throughout the afternoon.
Leoni, Lifestyle Coordinator at Brewster House, said:
“We had such a fun afternoon singing with WendySings4U in Country and Western surroundings.”
Resident David shared his delight, saying:
“What a fantastic afternoon, beautiful weather, and a glamorous singer enjoyed with my family and friends. What could be better?”
Fellow resident Debbie added:
“I had a wonderful afternoon dancing.”
The summer party highlighted Brewster House’s commitment to creating meaningful experiences that bring residents together, celebrate their ideas and encourage family and community involvement. The event was a wonderful example of how resident-led activities can create lasting memories and strengthen the sense of community within the home.
