Residents, families and staff at Liberty House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a magical Harry Potter-themed coffee morning on 31st July, raising funds for Age UK.
Guests dressed as their favourite Harry Potter characters while enjoying cake, tea and coffee together, creating an afternoon filled with laughter, conversation and fun. The event also introduced some residents to the Harry Potter world, encouraging new experiences and social interaction.
Kelley, Lifestyle Coordinator, said: “We had such a good time at our Harry Potter-themed coffee morning. We enjoyed lovely slices of cake with a coffee or tea and had lots of giggles while getting dressed up.”
Resident Pauline said: “I have never seen Harry Potter, but what joy we had dressing up.”
Resident Roy added: “I very much enjoyed myself this morning. I’ve seen the film a few times and love it.”
