Residents of Highview Lodge care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a minibus trip out for a fun-filled day together. They started the day with a game of bowling, followed by some time in the arcade before stopping off for burgers on the way home.
The residents shared how much they love doing activities like bowling and visiting the arcade, saying that it brings back happy memories of when they were younger.
One of the highlights of the day was Highview Lodge resident Jan, proving to be a secret bowling pro, scoring two strikes and two spares and ultimately trumping everyone else!
Minibus outings like these are at the heart of Highview Lodge and are always a lot of fun, promoting connection and friendly competition. They also provide a wonderful opportunity for the residents to relive special memories while also creating new ones.
