Mulberry Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, brought residents and staff together for a special Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising an impressive £109.31 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Residents of Mulberry Court and the Lifestyle Team hosted the coffee morning, welcoming everyone to enjoy a cup of tea, homemade treats and good company while supporting an important cause.
The event gave Mulberry Court residents an opportunity to play an active role in the fundraiser, with resident ambassador Pat helping to raise funds and enjoying seeing people support the cause.
Pat said: “It was lovely to see people supporting such a good cause.”
Raising money for Macmillan is particularly important to the Mulberry Court community, as cancer affects so many people. The funds raised will help support Macmillan’s work with people living with cancer, as well as their families and loved ones.
The coffee morning also provided residents and staff with an opportunity to support their local community and make a positive contribution to a cause that means so much to many people.
Mulberry Court was delighted with the £109.31 raised and thanked everyone who supported the event, with every contribution helping to make a difference.
