Residents and staff at Leatherland Lodge care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, welcomed students and teachers from Tree Tops School for a special visit.
The visit to Leatherland Lodge home was filled with entertainment and activities for everyone to enjoy, including pampering, singing and dancing, puzzles, games and colouring. Residents of Leatherland Lodge also enjoyed looking through family photographs shared by the students and hearing about their lives and experiences.
The students and teachers thoroughly enjoyed the visit, sharing how much they had enjoyed spending time with the Leatherland Lodge residents and how they were looking forward to returning. They were delighted to see the smiles they brought to residents and enjoyed sharing their family photographs and hearing stories about residents’ lives and memories.
The school visit to Leatherland Lodge provided a lovely opportunity for residents and students to spend meaningful time together, with the team looking forward to continuing the relationship with Tree Tops School and welcoming the children back for future visits.
