Residents and staff at Westwood care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, have continued their commitment to supporting the local community by making their latest monthly charity donation to Bassetlaw Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU).
The donation was made as part of Westwood’s monthly charity initiative, which gives residents, staff and members of the wider Westwood community the opportunity to support different local causes and organisations throughout the year.
Supporting the Special Care Baby Unit was particularly meaningful, with the Westwood team wanting to help support families and staff spending time at the unit. The donation included a range of useful items for families and staff while they are at the baby unit, including baby essentials, tea, coffee, biscuits, cakes and utensils.
The Westwood team received a warm response from the Special Care Baby Unit, who expressed their gratitude for the generous donations and highlighted how every contribution can help make a difference.
