Caldwell Grange Residents, Families and Staff Come Together for a Jigsaw Puzzle Challenge

Residents, relatives and staff from Caldwell Grange Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, came together for a jigsaw puzzle challenge, working as a team to see how many puzzles they could complete over the course of one month.

The activity was organised by Caldwell Grange’s Lifestyle Coordinator, Tracey, who wanted to create a fun and engaging experience that everyone could take part in. The challenge brought people together through a shared goal, encouraging teamwork, conversation and plenty of opportunities to celebrate each completed puzzle.

Taking part in Caldwell Grange’s Puzzle Challenge offered a range of benefits, helping to keep minds active and build confidence through a sense of achievement. It also supported emotional wellbeing and inclusion, ensuring everyone had the opportunity to get involved at their own pace.

One of the highlights was seeing granddaughter of Caldwell Grange resident Eileen come along to lend a hand, making the challenge even more special and highlighting the value of spending time together across generations.

Caldwell Grange resident Eileen said she really enjoyed taking part and thought it was great to see everyone working together. Another resident’s relative also commented on how lovely it was to see everyone enjoying themselves and keeping busy.

The jigsaw challenge was a wonderful example of how a fun and interactive activity can bring people together and create meaningful for residents, families and staff alike.
