Residents, relatives and staff at Caldwell Grange Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, came together to celebrate Roger’s 85th birthday with a special Elvis Presley tribute performance, kindly arranged by his family.
The celebrations brought a morning full of music, singing and dancing, as everyone enjoyed some of Elvis Presley’s most-loved classics. The lively atmosphere soon got everyone joining in, with Caldwell Grange residents singing along and taking to the dance floor.
One of the standout moments was seeing Caldwell Grange resident, Roger, take to the microphone to sing. After enjoying the music, everyone took a well-deserved break to tuck into delicious birthday cake and cold drink before returning to the celebrations.
The event was a wonderful way to mark Roger’s special milestone and his family’s thoughtful involvement also helped make the day particularly meaningful.
Everyone wished Roger a very happy birthday, and he said he had a brilliant time. Fellow Caldwell Grange resident Aubrey shared how great it felt to get up and dance, while Brenda said what an amazing time she had.
The celebration was a fantastic occasion for everyone involved, filled with treasured moments and plenty of birthday cheer. Caldwell Grange would like to thank Roger’s family for arranging such a special performance and helping make his 85th birthday one to remember.
