On Easter Sunday, 20th April, Chelmunds Court care home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, turned its garden into a scene of laughter, sunshine, and friendly competition as residents, families, and staff came together for a delightful Easter egg hunt.
The garden was full of Easter eggs that were hidden throughout the Chelmunds Court grounds. Residents, joined by their family members, were given Easter-themed buckets and bunny ears to wear, bringing a playful and cheerful spirit to the afternoon.
The event created an opportunity for Chelmunds Court residents to share in the simple delight of a traditional Easter egg hunt, while forming connections with the local community. Residents found themselves in a lively competition between residents and staff, filled with playful teasing and plenty of smiles.
The Easter egg hunt was a true success with residents—encouraging activity, connection, and joy, all in one sunny, chocolate-filled afternoon.
