Residents at Bramwell Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a glamorous “Grandma’s on the Red Carpet” Ladies’ Afternoon on Friday 17 July 2026.
The special event celebrated the home’s female residents, promoting confidence, dignity and wellbeing. Residents dressed in their favourite outfits and proudly walked the red carpet, cheered on by family members, friends and staff.
The afternoon included cheese, wine and plenty of socialising in a joyful and uplifting atmosphere. The event was created to show that a dementia diagnosis does not define a person, and everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy meaningful experiences.
Home Manager Mable Joloza said the afternoon was a wonderful way to celebrate residents’ individuality, personality and confidence while creating special memories together.
