Residents at Jubilee Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a day out as they returned to the much-loved Titchfield Park for a picnic.
The outing was organised following conversations with residents about the walks and parks they used to enjoy visiting. Keen to bring those memories back to life, the home’s Lifestyle Coordinator accompanied residents on a special trip to the park they had fondly remembered.
The group spent the afternoon enjoying a picnic in the sunshine, taking a leisurely stroll through the park, and finishing the day with a little shopping.
One resident summed up the day perfectly, saying: “It was a lovely day out. The picnic, the walk, and a bit of shopping to end the day.”
The visit reflects Jubilee Court’s commitment to creating meaningful experiences that promote wellbeing and help residents continue making new memories while celebrating those from the past.
