Braywood Gardens Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, recently launched an inspiring initiative aimed at promoting connections between their residents and the local community. The initiative, called “Bags of Kindness,” involved distributing thoughtfully prepared gift bags to nearby residents, businesses, and passers-by. Each bag contained a selection of small, meaningful gifts along with personal, uplifting messages.
Leanne Simms, Senior Customer Relations Manager at Braywood Gardens, explained that this initiative was an excellent way to get the residents out into the local area to spread goodwill and positivity. Leanne added that the gesture was “very well received by the community and businesses.”
This initiative exemplifies Braywood Gardens’ commitment to not just being a part of the local community, but to actively contributing to it in meaningful ways. It’s a wonderful example of how small acts of kindness can have a lasting, positive impact.
