Staff at Evelyn May House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, came together to dedicate a beautiful memorial bench in memory of Pearl, creating a special place where residents, families and team members can sit, reflect and remember the happy memories they shared with her.
The tribute was organised by Evelyn May House staff who had the pleasure of knowing Pearl and wanted to honour her in a meaningful and lasting way. One particularly touching moment was seeing staff members who had not personally known Pearl come outside to view the bench and listen to the memories being shared.
The tribute was warmly received, with Evelyn May House residents describing it as a “lovely tribute” and a “nice way to make sure they’re never forgotten”.
