Chelmunds Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was alive with festive fun as residents, families, and staff came together on 30th October to celebrate Halloween in style. The lively event featured a live singer loved by all the residents, plenty of spooky treats, and an afternoon of music, dancing, and laughter.
“The atmosphere was so heartwarming and lively,” said Kera Budge, Lifestyle Coordinator at Chelmunds Court. “People were dancing with friends, singing along, and families were simply enjoying being together. It was lovely to see everyone having such a great time.”
Residents and their families shared how much they loved the event, saying they were glad they came because everyone got involved and enjoyed themselves. One particularly touching moment came when a resident who doesn’t speak English joined in on the dancing, a reminder of the power of music and togetherness to connect people beyond words.
Kera added, “It’s important to take time to come together, sing your heart out, and have a good dance. Events like this bring everyone closer, and that’s what makes them so special.”
Chelmunds Court regularly hosts seasonal celebrations like this to ensure residents can continue to enjoy the traditions they love while creating new memories with friends, family, and staff.
