Frank Foster House, part of the Runwood Homes group, was filled with music and celebration as residents and colleagues came together to celebrate Onam and Raksha Bandhan, while recognising the dedication and hard work of the home’s team.
The celebration was organised as an opportunity to say thank you to colleagues for the care and compassion they show residents every day, while also embracing the different cultures and traditions represented within the Frank Foster House community.
Throughout the celebration, everyone had the opportunity to enjoy traditional Onam-inspired food, singing and dancing, with beautiful saris and Indian outfits bringing an extra splash of colour to the occasion.
A resident from Frank Foster House said: “Today was about saying a big thank you to our staff. They work incredibly hard every day to support our residents, and we wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate them and show our appreciation. It was wonderful to see everyone coming together, enjoying themselves and sharing in these important cultural celebrations.”
