Residents at Park View care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a day filled with music as the home hosted its Summer Fete, featuring the first-ever performance of the Park View Choir.
The event brought together residents, relatives, and members of the local community for a memorable celebration, with a cake sale and activities adding to the festivities. Money raised throughout the day would go directly towards the Residents’ Fund, helping to support future activities, outings and meaningful experiences.
A resident and member of the choir said: “We had a wonderful time at the Summer Fete. Singing together in the choir was such an emotional experience, and I felt incredibly honoured to be part of something so inspiring. After months of practice, it was amazing to perform together and share the experience with everyone. It was a truly special day that I will always remember.”
The day was a celebration of the residents’ talents and achievements, with the Park View Choir performance marking an exciting new chapter for the home’s musical community.
