Highview Daycentre, part of the Runwood Homes group, recently welcomed residents from Highview Lodge care home for a special coffee morning.
Guests enjoyed a selection of homemade cakes and treats while sharing stories and conversation. The event brought together clients from Highview Daycentre and residents from Highview Lodge, many of whom have known each other for years.
Margaret, who attended the coffee morning, said:
“I loved being able to see old friends that I met through coming to the day centre who have now moved into the residential home. It was lovely to catch up with each other.”
Following the success of the event, attendees expressed how much they enjoyed the morning and said they would love to make these gatherings a regular occasion, ensuring the friendships and community spirit continue to flourish.
