Residents from Humfrey Lodge Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, embraced the Halloween spirit with a wonderful autumn day out at Cammas Hall Pumpkin Farm on 23 October 2025. The visit was filled with colour, creativity, and plenty of festive fun as residents explored the farm’s vibrant pumpkin displays and picturesque surroundings.
The group were treated to an impressive showcase of more than 50 pumpkin varieties. One of the highlights of the day was the incredible mosaic artwork made entirely from thousands of pumpkins, a true feast for the eyes!
“It was such a wonderful day out! I couldn’t believe how many different pumpkins there were, all so colourful and creative. It really got me in the Halloween spirit,” said Malcom, Home Ambassador.
Weronika Bien, Lifestyle Coordinator at Humfrey Lodge, shared, “It was a truly delightful outing that brought everyone together to enjoy the crisp autumn air and the beauty of the countryside. Residents loved choosing their own pumpkins and soaking up the seasonal atmosphere, bringing a touch of Halloween cheer and a sense of adventure back to the home.”
The day was filled with smiles from start to finish, as residents selected their own pumpkins and soaked up the festive autumn atmosphere. It was a perfect way to celebrate the season and bring the spirit of Halloween back home to Humfrey Lodge.
